Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JOHN BURGER. / ROCHESTER," New York State origin, circa 1860, ovoid jug with thick spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a daisy with heavily-shaded center. Slip-trailed "2." above. A 3 1/2" line to neck area. A short line to top of spout, continuning a short distance down reverse of spout. Some staining.
