Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester County, PA, circa 1880, approximately three-quart to one-gallon cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a brushed swag design in three places around the shoulder. Excellent condition with a minor nick on interior of rim.
