Two Pieces of N. Clark, Jr., Athens, NY Stoneware, mid 19th century, a three-gallon ovoid jar with split-stem floral design and cobalt highlights to maker's mark, stamped "N. CLARK, JR / ATHENS N.Y."; with a two-gallon crock with foliate decoration and cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals, stamped "N. CLARK. JR' ATHENS". Ovoid jar with some stained spots, minor fry to cobalt, and a small handle chip. Cylindrical jar with large reglued section on front, a 6 1/2" inverted fork-shaped crack from rim on reverse, a 3" line from rim on side of crock, a few rims chip, a handle chip, and sticky residue / staining to surface.
