Two Cobalt-Decorated Pottery Pitchers, American, early 20th century, spongeware tankard pitcher, paired with a blue-and-white Sleepy Eye pitcher. Spongeware with two faint, short surface lines on interior, not visible on exterior, a small chip and two tiny nicks on interior of rim, and some wear to handle, possibly in-the-firing. Sleepy Eye pitcher with some staining and a 2 1/4" crack from rim on reverse. H (of spongeware pitcher) 9".
