Two Cobalt-Decorated Pfaltzgraff Stoneware Jugs, York, PA origin, circa 1870-1889, a two-gallon jug with hanging conical floral motif, stamped "H.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK PA"; paired with a two-gallon unsigned jug with large triple tulip decoration. Signed example with broken and reglued handle, two spout chips, and staining to surface. Unsigned example with a spout chip, a line around base, which continues upward into body of jug in two place, and a short separation in underside.
