Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, American, 19th century, an ovoid jar with footed base, tooled shoulder, and squared rim, decorated with a streaky lead and manganese glaze; paired with an ovoid jug with footed base and semi-rounded spout, covered in a streaky lead-and-manganese glaze over an olive ground with orange spots. Jug is incised "25" on underside. Significant chipping to base and rim, including a 1 3/4" flake to rim, as well as surface wear to midsection. Jug with heavy chipping to base, wear to spout, and wear to surface. H (of jar) 10 1/8".
