Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Swag Decoration, Mid-Atlantic origin, mid 19th century, approximately three-quart, ovoid jar with tall collar and applied lug handles, decorated with brushed cobalt swags on the front an reverse. A few base chips and a few shallow in-the-firing chips, contact marks to surface.
