Two New York State Stoneware Jugs, circa 1870, both of one-gallon capacity, an ovoid jug with slip-trailed floral design, stamped "C.W. BRAUN / BUFFALO, N.Y.," paired with a cylindrical jug with brushed and slip-trailed cobalt tulip design, attributed to J. Fisher, Lyons, NY. Braun jug with recessed contact mark on front and other bits of clay adhered to jug near base. Attributed Fisher jug with two shallow spout chips, one of which is glazed over.
