One-Gallon "E.J. MILLER / ALEXANDRIA, VA" Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Jar, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with freehand cobalt stripes and the stenciled advertising "E.J. MILLER SON & CO. / DEALERS IN / CHINA AND / GLASS WARE. / ALEXANDRIA. VA.". 3 1/4" hairline on side of jar. Some minor nicks on interior of rim.
