Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, American, 19th century, a cylindrical jar with manganese daubs over a bright orange ground, New England origin; paired with a porringer with ribbed handle and sponged manganese on interior and exterior, PA or New England origin. Jar with rim chips, short cracks from rim, and a small glazed-over stone ping to midsection. Porringer with chips and wear to rim, light wear to handle, and some flakes to interior base. H (of jar) 6 1/2".
