Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt American Flag Decoration, Stamped "H.M. WHITMAN, / HAVANA. N.Y," circa 1860-1862, semi-ovoid jug with rounded shoulder and semi-squared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of an American flag. Excellent size and scarce design. Hairline through handle. Otherwise excellent condition.
