Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Stamped "A.O. WHITTEMORE / HAVANA, NY," circa 1865, both of similar handled form, decorated with stylized slip-trailed floral designs. Two-gallon example with restoration to reverse, small chips on interior of rim, a contact mark, and a long horizontal hairline. Significant restoration to three-gallon example and rim chips.
