Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Slip-Trailed Cobalt Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, third quarter 19th century, squat-shaped jar with tooled shoulder and flared rim, decorated with slip-trailed looping line design accented with spots. Excellent condition with a minor nick to inner edge of rim, some in-the-firing dryness to cobalt, and some spots of paint, not related to any restoration.
