Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Tapered Crock, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1840, tapered crock with heavily-tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with handle-to-handle design of leafy stem with clovers and leaves. Additional cobalt garland with flower design under each handle. Unusual form. Excellent condition with a small rim chip and a few rim nicks.
