One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Lid, probably Fenton & Hancock, St. Johnsbury, VT, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and rim, decorated with a finely-slip-trailed vine design featuring ball-shaped leaves. Two large reglued pieces on underside. Hairlines from rim. Chipping on interior of rim. Salt drip and a few chips to lid. H (including lid) 9 3/4".
