Early Stoneware Jug with Abstract Cobalt Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1820-1830, approximately two-gallon ovoid jug with wide, heavily-tooled spout and ribbed handle, decorated with a brushed cobalt design resembling a flower blossom or insect. Excellent condition.
