Two Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jars, 19th century, a small-sized lid jar, impressed with the cobalt-highlighted advertising "JOS DUPONT / MONTREAL"; paired with a one-gallon swag-decorated jar, attributed to Strasburg, VA. Montreal jar with several small rim chips, the lid with two chips and a thin crack. Strasburg jar with reglued wedge at base, repaired with body putty, a hairline from rim, and a rim chip. H (of Montreal jar including lid) 6 1/4".
