Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "RIEDINGER & CAIRE / POUGHKEEPSIE, NY," circa 1860, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a two-stemmed tulip plant. Hairlines on underside, connecting to an X-shaped line at base under one handle. Chip to interior of rim. 1 1/2" inverted Y-shaped line above one handle. Stone ping to left side of jar's front.
