One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1880, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip. Some light bubbling to flower. Some in-the-firing dry marks to surface, mostly on left side. A few base chips. Small stone ping on front. Salt drip at base, on underside, and on front below flower.
