Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "N CLARK, JR. / ATHENS NY," circa 1850, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and semi-rounded spout, decorated with two large tulips with dashed interiors, extending from a central stem. Excellent condition with a stone ping on reverse, as well as a tiny in-the-firing hole on reverse, which does not extend through to interior.
