Extremely Rare Flemington, NJ Stoneware Presentation Bank, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th or early 20th century, beehive-form, Bristol-slip-glazed bank with tall ribbed finial featuring cross-shaped floral incising on tip. Front of bank incised "Minnie Harden, / Flemington, / N.J.", flanked by a lily on one side and a cluster of daisies on the opposite side. Circular incising surrounding carved slot. Incised script and decoration is highlighted in cobalt slip and light brown Albany slip. Highly unusual form. As-made condition with an in-the-firing stone ping / chip at bottom edge. H 4 1/2".
