Stoneware "CARNIVAL SOUVENIER" Bank, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, 1909, cylindrical form with sloped shoulder, squared finial, and vertical slot, the surface covered in a whitish Bristol slip glaze. Bank features the black-glazed inscription "1909 / CARNIVAL SOUVENIER / FLEMINGTON, N.J." on one side, and a street scene with people on the reverse. A small chip and wear to finial. Tiny nick to slot. Later red and black marker inscription on underside. H 5".
