Very Rare Rust-Dipped Stoneware Bottle, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1810, cylindrical bottle with rounded shoulder and tall spout with rounded rim, decorated with a dipped iron slip and covered in a salt glaze. Excavated in Baltimore, this bottle was likely made during the first period of stoneware production in the city. Small chip and some wear to base. Some dryness to surface. H 9 1/4".
