Scarce One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Stenciled and Freehand Cobalt Decoration, attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection and tall, flaring collar, the front decorated with a stenciled strip of geometric designs between freehand stripes. Collar decorated with graduated stripes in a diamond-like pattern. Spout decorated with cobalt dashes. Heavy chipping to rim. Otherwise excellent condition.
