Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Running Bird Decoration, Stamped "WHITE'S UTICA," New York State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with thick, semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a fan-tailed bird in "running" stance atop a branch. Rim chip. Some fry to cobalt. H 10".
