Scarce Squat-Formed Stoneware Pitcher, Rockingham County, VA origin, circa 1860-1880, approximately half-gallon, ovoid pitcher with rounded foot, tooled shoulder, and flared rim, decorated with brushed cobalt swags around the shoulder and a cobalt stripe around the rim. Restored handle. Otherwise excellent condition. H 7 1/2".
