Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, NC origin, late 19th century, semi-ovoid form with flared spout and applied strap handle, decorated with a greenish alkaline glaze. Incised "2" on shoulder. Three BB holes in shoulder. Otherwise excellent condition. H 15 1/4".
