Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Lids, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, one decorated with large cobalt swags; the second decorated with cobalt daubs around the edge and surrounding the knob. Swag-decorated lid has a small chip to flange on underside and a few very minor lines in edge. Other lid with small chips to flange on underside. Diameter (of swag-decorated lid) 8 1/2".
