BARDWELL'S ROOT BEER Molded Stoneware Canteen, attributed to the White's Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, with raised floral design on front and elk decoration on reverse, the Bristol-slip-glazed surface highlighted in cobalt slip. A thin crack in each foot, which likely occurred during the firing. Small chip to edge, small chip to one handle, and some shallow chipping to embossing. H 11 1/4".
