Large Slip-Decorated Redware Dish, origin unknown, possibly Southern U.S., 19th century, wheel-thrown dish with tooled rim, decorated with cream-colored slip embellished with a combed design. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Glaze wear to interior. Rim chips, including a 3" loss to rim. Diameter 13 1/2".
