Miniature Redware Pitcher, New England origin, probably Maine, early to mid 19th century, ovoid pitcher with flared foot, narrow opening, and applied handle, covered in an unusual light brown lead glaze accented with iron flecks. Provenance: Christies, Oct. 1, 1988, Sale 6666. Small base chips. Tiny nicks to rim. H 2 1/2".
