Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, possibly Gonic, NH, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jug with rounded foot, and high-arching, heavily-ribbed handle. Surface decorated with a few daubs of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Attractive coloration with heavy orange spotting over an olive ground. Two base chips. Chip and wear to handle. Wear to spout. H 7 3/8".
