Small-Sized Stoneware Jar, Incised "G.W.D.," Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, skillfully-potted jar with tooled foot, bulbous shoulder, and rounded rim, decorated with cobalt at the base and rim. Underside incised in script "G.W.D." Touch mark to rim. Base chips. H 7 1/4".
