One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Bowl with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J. EBERLY & BRO. / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1885, tapered bowl with tooled shoulder and applied tab handles, decorated on each side with brushed cobalt swags and floral motif. Impressed with J. Eberly & Bro. maker's mark under one handle. Thin lines throughout surface, most of which do not extend through to interior. Chipping to bottom edge of rim. Base chip and handle chip. H 5 3/4" ; Diameter 11".
