Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Dove Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON SONS, / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1880, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt dove with looping wing detail, perched on a stylized branch. Some fry to cobalt. Spout chips, which likely occurred in the making. H 13 3/4".
