Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & LANG / ROCHESTER, N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with pronounced rounded rim, tooled shoulder, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt leaf design with a script 2 in the center. 6 1/2" hairline on reverse, which does not go through to interior. 2 1/4" hairline in handle. 1 1/2" in-the-firing separation at end of one handle. H 9 1/2".
