Stoneware Wax Sealer with Stenciled Floral Design, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, with rounded and tooled shoulder, decorated with a stenciled cobalt daisy design along with freehand stripes above and below. Hairline on underside, continuing onto base area of jar in two places. Faint, approximately 4" Y-shaped hairline on reverse. Two small chips to interior of rim. H 8 1/4".
