Glazed Redware Pitcher with Sponged Manganese Decoration, probably PA origin, mid 19th century, ovoid form with rounded foot, tooled collar, and ribbed handle, decorated with vertical stripes of manganese sponging on the body and handle. Several cracks on underside extending onto base area. Glaze wear to handle. Chips and wear to rim. Small base chips. Flaking to interior base. H 7 3/4".
