Scarce Ovoid Redware Jar, Stamped "L. KOPP," Lineboro, MD origin, circa 1875, ovoid jar with tooled foot, two incised lines around shoulder, and rounded rim, coated on the interior with a lead and manganese glaze. Impressed with L. Kopp maker's mark on underside near the edge, with one P missing. 5 1/4" crack from rim on interior, 3 1/4" of which is visible on the exterior. Crack includes rim chip. Additional 4" crack from rim. Approximately 6" Y-shaped crack from rim with chip at rim. Base chip. Scratches to interior. H 7 3/4".
