Glazed Sewer Tile Figure of a Lion, Midwestern origin, late 19th century, molded figure of a reclining lion on an oval base decorated with impressed circles. Surface covered in a reddish brown glaze. Base chips. Small nick, possibly in-the-firing, to ear and top of mane. H 4 3/4" ; Length 6 3/8".
