Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, probably NJ origin, mid 19th century, squat-shaped stoneware jug with tooled shoulder, decorated with a brushed cobalt floral design and the number 2 in cobalt script. 3/4" stone ping on reverse. Two small pieces, measuring a total of 3/8", are reglued together on the side of the spout. 1" glazed-over base chip. 1" U-shaped line at base. H 11 3/8".
