Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Spaniel on Base, Ohio origin, circa 1860, molded seated spaniel on base with heavily cobalt decoration on front and back. Incised detail to eyes and mouth. Hollow interior. Base chips. Heavy chipping to underside on front, which may have occurred in the firing. H 6 3/4".
