Bristol Slip Glazed Stoneware "WINES" Canteen, Northeastern U.S. origin, late 19th century, molded canteen with wire bail handle, cobalt-decorated with the word "WINES." and a company logo within a shield. Reverse with traces of an applied vinegar label. Tiny spout chip. 1" in-the-making chip to one side. H (to spout) 10 1/2".
