Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1875, straight-sided crock with applied lug handles, decorated with a stylized slip-trailed floral design. Includes antique wooden cover. 4" horizontal crack at base on reverse, continuing 3 1/2" onto underside. 1 1/2" chip to rim and other smaller rim chips. 4 1/2" inverted Y-shaped line under one handle. Small handle chip. Small stone ping on reverse. H 10 1/2".
