Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "NICHOLS & BOYNTON / BURLINGTON, VT.," circa 1870, large jug with squared spout and applied strap handle, decorated with a two-stemmed brushed cobalt floral design. Hairline in underside, extending approximately 5" up front of jug. Base chips. H 18".
