Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JOHN BURGER / ROCHESTER," New York State origin, circa 1860, ovoid jug with squared spout and applied handle, decorated with an artistically-rendered flowering plant design featuring a large blossoms and four buds. Cobalt "2" above decoration. Two spout chips. H 14 1/4".
