Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "F. STETZENMEYER / ROCHESTER, N.Y.," circa 1865, ovoid jug with large, squared spout, decorated with a finely slip-trailed design of a large flower with heavily-shaped petals and leaves. Slip-trailed "2" to the left of the decoration. Light fry to decoration. Two hairlines in handle, but handle remains perfectly intact. H 15".
