We are now accepting high-quality antiques and decorative arts for our next general antiques auction, to be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012.

We welcome one quality item or an entire collection / estate. We are seeking all manner of antiques, including the following: American and European paintings and fine art; folk art; country and formal furniture; folk carvings; textiles; fraktur; weathervanes; decoys; ceramics, including art pottery, mocha, Staffordshire, and spatterware; advertising; toys; militaria; architectural and garden items; coins; bottles; early glass; et cetera.

Our commission is as low as 12.5% to the seller--one of the very lowest rates you will find in the entire country for the unsurpassed services we provide.

Catalog

Both our print catalog (praised as one of the best produced in the world of American antiques) and our online catalogs will be available in late May.

Auction Time

The auction will be held on Saturday, June 9, at 10am (eastern time). Doors open at 8am.

An auction preview, during which you can view and handle every lot in the sale, will take place on Friday, June 8, from 1-6 pm.

You can also preview all of the items from 8-10 am on Saturday, before the auction.

Complimentary beverages and light food are provided during both the Preview and the Auction.

Our gallery is conveniently located just a few minutes off of Interstate 83 in northern Baltimore County, Maryland, about twenty minutes north of Baltimore and thirty minutes south of York, Pennsylvania. We are situated less than an hour and a half outside of Washington, D.C., and less than two hours from Philadelphia.

How to Bid

We offer several different bidding methods to make our auction as accessible as possible. Besides attending the auction at our gallery in Maryland, bidders participate from all over the country via absentee bidding, phone bidding, internet bidding (before the auction), and live internet bidding (during the auction).

We are also conveniently located to some of the area’s best hotels in nearby Hunt Valley, Maryland, less than ten minutes from our gallery. Both Hunt Valley and Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, (about twenty minutes away) are great options if you are looking for overnight accommodations. Both towns also offer several good restaurant options.
