Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, half-gallon and one-gallon jars, both of cylindrical form with brushed cobalt foliate designs. Larger example with a few tight hairlines. Smaller example with small chip on interior of rim and staining. Otherwise normal wear. H (of taller) 10 1/2".
