| Description: |
This small butter crock is decorated with a fan-shaped flower motif and was made in Baltimore in the mid to late nineteenth century. It bears this decoration on both sides and extra leafy flourishes to the right of the flower head. Cobalt decorates the handle terminals as well. This is overall a fine example of a desirable stoneware form. |
